1. Who we are and what this notice covers
ALTARIS LLC (Altaris) provides technology and business services. This notice covers information we handle about visitors to altarisenterprises.com, people who contact us, and client contacts involved in our services and billing. Contact us at support@altarisenterprises.com with a privacy question.
If we process personal information solely on behalf of a client while maintaining their website or systems, we follow that client's instructions and the applicable service agreement. Visitors to a client's website should contact that business about its own privacy practices.
2. Information we receive
- Inquiries and client contacts: names, business names, email addresses, contact details you choose to provide, website addresses, and the contents of messages.
- Project information: intake responses, business goals, budgets, timelines, systems, requirements, materials, files, feedback, and account access needed for work you authorize. Please only share information relevant to the requested or agreed services.
- Billing information: customer and billing details, invoices, transaction references, payment status, subscription information, and limited payment-method details supplied by Stripe.
- Technical information: our hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs when serving this website.
Payments take place on Stripe-hosted pages. The public Altaris website does not collect or store full card numbers or card security codes. Do not email full payment details, passwords, or sensitive personal records to us.
3. How we use information
We use information as needed to:
- Respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, and communicate about requested work.
- Deliver and support approved projects and website-care services.
- Manage invoices, subscriptions, refunds, and payment-related questions.
- Maintain the website, diagnose problems, protect accounts, and prevent fraud or misuse.
- Keep appropriate business records and meet accounting, tax, legal, and dispute-resolution obligations.
An inquiry does not automatically enroll you in a marketing mailing list. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context targeted advertising.
4. Service providers and other disclosures
We use providers for website hosting and security, business email, payment processing, and tools needed for agreed project work. Providers receive information needed for those functions. Authorized contractors or professional advisers may receive information needed for their work, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
Stripe processes payment and fraud-prevention information and supplies billing records to Altaris. Stripe also handles some information for its own purposes under its Privacy Policy. The privacy practices of your bank, wallet, or other selected payment provider also apply to those services.
We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, protect safety or legal rights, or respond to a dispute. We do not publish confidential client materials without permission.
5. Cookies and third-party services
The current public website does not include Altaris-installed advertising pixels or optional analytics cookies. Hosting and security services may use cookies or similar technologies needed to deliver and protect the site. Stripe-hosted checkout and billing pages use their own technologies under Stripe's notices and settings.
You can control cookies through your browser, although blocking some cookies may affect third-party checkout or security features. If we add optional analytics or advertising tools, we will update this notice and provide any choices or consent controls required by applicable law.
Links to another website take you to a service with its own privacy practices. The provider's notice explains what it does with information you share there.
6. Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here. Relevant factors include whether an inquiry or project is active, ongoing support, accounting and tax requirements, contractual obligations, and the need to resolve a dispute. Payment and agreement records may need to be retained after services end.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details where practical. We coordinate removal of project access when work ends unless ongoing support requires it. Records in routine backups may remain until those backups are replaced under the provider's schedule.
We use reasonable safeguards and limit access to people and providers who need information for their work. No website, email system, or storage service can guarantee absolute security. We agree an appropriate way to share account access before starting a project.
7. Your choices and requests
Email support@altarisenterprises.com to request access to, correction of, a copy of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Describe the request and the relationship you have with Altaris. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity or authority, without requesting unnecessary sensitive documents.
The rights available and our response obligations depend on applicable law and the information involved. We may need to retain records for legal, accounting, security, or contractual reasons. If we cannot fulfill a request, we explain the reason and any available review or appeal process required by law. If the request concerns data we hold for another business, we may refer it to that business or assist it under our agreement.
8. Location and intended audience
Altaris operates in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate. Applicable protections can differ by location.
Our services are intended for businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can address it appropriately.
9. Changes and contact
We update this notice when our practices change and identify the updated version by date. Where required, we provide additional notice of material changes. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to ALTARIS LLC at support@altarisenterprises.com.
See our Service Terms for service responsibilities and our Refunds & Cancellations policy for billing requests.
