Service Terms

Project scope, payments, website maintenance, and the responsibilities of Altaris and its clients.

Effective:

1. Who these terms cover

ALTARIS LLC (Altaris) provides website development, maintenance, technology, and business operations services. These terms apply when they are included in an order or proposal that you accept. Browsing this website does not authorize a payment.

A mutually approved proposal or statement of work defines your project. Any project-specific exception to these terms must be clearly disclosed and agreed before purchase. An update to this website does not replace an existing signed agreement or limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

2. Website builds and custom projects

The Starter Website package covers one page with up to six sections. The Business Website package covers up to five pages. Both include a mobile-friendly design, a contact form, basic search-engine setup, two revision rounds, domain connection, and launch handoff. Current starting prices appear on the pricing page.

You supply approved text, images, brand assets, and the account access needed for delivery. You must have permission to use the materials you provide. A revision round is one consolidated set of feedback within the agreed scope, not a new design direction or additional functionality.

Custom systems and automation projects are scoped separately. Additional pages, copywriting, ecommerce, new features, and work beyond the agreed scope require a separate written quote and your approval before we proceed.

3. Project payments and delivery

Project prices are in USD. Your proposal confirms the total fee, deposit, payment milestones, applicable taxes, and estimated delivery schedule. Deposits are part of the project price, not an additional charge. Stripe invoices state the amount and due date for each payment.

Project work begins after the scope is approved, any required initial payment is received, and necessary materials and access are ready. Launch and handoff follow the milestones in your proposal. Delayed feedback, access, or content can move the agreed schedule; we will discuss material changes with you. If an invoice is overdue, we may pause new work after notifying you.

Services are delivered digitally. Physical shipping does not apply. Hosting, domains, third-party subscriptions, and paid tools are separate unless expressly included in your proposal. Website maintenance is optional and is not automatically added to a website-build invoice.

4. When monthly care starts

Altaris first reviews and accepts your website, confirms the required access is ready, and agrees a start date with you in writing. Subscribe on that agreed start date, after you are invited to begin care. Care begins once your first payment is confirmed. Your billing period and renewal date are shown in Stripe's checkout and billing confirmation.

The first payment is due at checkout; it is not a reservation for a future start date. Each plan renews monthly until canceled, with the next charge shown in your Stripe billing information. If payment confirmation is delayed, we confirm the service start and any necessary billing adjustment with you before work begins. There is no free trial or commitment beyond the current monthly billing period under these standard plans.

If you pay before your website is accepted, contact us before requesting work. We will cancel and refund an unstarted subscription, then arrange a new start when your site is ready. Payment alone does not guarantee acceptance of a website we have not reviewed.

5. What monthly care includes

Altaris care plans for one approved website
PlanMonthly priceEdit allowance
Altaris Essential Care$99 USDUp to 30 minutes
Altaris Care Plus$250 USDUp to 2 hours

Both plans include routine maintenance and health checks appropriate to the agreed website platform. The listed edit allowance is in addition to those routine checks. Essential Care covers minor content edits; Care Plus also covers minor improvements to the existing site.

  • Typical edits include replacing supplied text or images, updating business details, and making small adjustments to existing sections.
  • Time spent reviewing, implementing, testing, and publishing your requested edits counts toward the monthly edit allowance.
  • The allowance resets at the start of each paid billing period. It is not based on calendar months.
  • Unused edit time does not roll over, accumulate, transfer to another website, or become a cash credit.
  • Additional work requires a separate quote and your written approval. There are no automatic overage charges.

New pages, redesigns, custom development, ecommerce, copywriting, hosting, domains, and paid tools are not included. These plans do not include round-the-clock monitoring, emergency response, or a guaranteed response time. We confirm scheduling after reviewing a request. Backup arrangements and any platform-specific responsibilities are agreed before care starts.

6. Canceling care or a project

You can cancel monthly care through the Stripe customer portal or request cancellation by emailing support@altarisenterprises.com. Project cancellations must be requested by email. For monthly care, a request received before renewal stops the next renewal, and care continues through the end of your paid billing period. There is no separate cancellation fee.

Cancellation does not normally refund a care period that has already started or unused edit time. Billing errors, services we cannot provide, and refunds required by law are handled separately. Project cancellations are reconciled against completed work and approved non-recoverable costs. See the Refunds & Cancellations policy for details.

7. Ownership, access, and third parties

You retain ownership of the materials you provide. Ownership and handoff of final custom deliverables are confirmed in your proposal and occur after the applicable project fees are paid. Pre-existing tools, reusable components, and third-party materials remain subject to their own ownership and license terms, which must be identified where relevant to your delivery.

You remain responsible for your domain, hosting, licenses, and business accounts unless a written agreement says otherwise. When care ends, we stop ongoing work and monitoring. Cancellation does not transfer ownership of your website to Altaris or automatically cancel services you purchased from another provider. We coordinate removal of our access with you.

8. Service expectations and data

We perform the agreed work with reasonable professional care. We do not guarantee particular sales, search rankings, uninterrupted third-party services, or that maintenance will prevent every security incident. Report a problem with agreed work so we can assess it and discuss a remedy.

Only share data and access needed for the agreed services. Do not send full payment-card details, passwords, or sensitive personal records in ordinary email. We agree an appropriate access method before work begins. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle website, contact, and billing information.

9. Changes and questions

We will communicate material changes to an existing care plan, including price or scope changes, before they take effect and explain how to cancel before the changed terms apply. We do not apply a price change retroactively to a period already paid for. Project changes require written agreement.

For scope, billing, or service questions, contact ALTARIS LLC at support@altarisenterprises.com. Nothing in these terms removes a right or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
